We’ve had a number of customers log into our remote service (www.4kcc.com/rts) because they have some weird windows at the top of their browser. They look like this:
What are those little windows at the top of the browser page? Those are preview windows found in Microsoft Edge. Of course, if you are using any operating system other than Windows 10, you don’t have Edge and won’t get these windows. But, for those of you who do have Windows 10 and use Microsoft Edge, here’s your explanation:
When you have multiple tabs open in Edge – for instance, you’re searching for something on the Internet and you use tabs to open various pages – it’s sometimes difficult to remember what’s on each tab. In response to this issue, Microsoft has added Tab Preview to Microsoft Edge. Instead of having to click through each open tab to find what you’re looking for, you can just use the preview feature and see small images of all the pages which are open. How do you turn on or turn off the preview windows? Simple! At the right end of the last open tab, just click the small arrow to the right of the + sign.
