Don’t Fly With This Mac

In my June 25, 2019 post, I relayed information about a MacBook Pro recall because of battery problems. (Battery Recall) If you own a MacBook Pro laptop which was manufactured between September 2015 and February 2017, that computer is now banned from US airplane flights. It doesn’t matter if it’s a carry-on or in luggage, you can’t take it on a plane in the US. The only way you can take this laptop on a plane is if you can show proof it was repaired.

As I shared in my previous post on this issue, if you own one of these computers, you should check to see if it’s affected by the recall. You can do so by visiting Apple’s recall page which is HERE.
