When there’s an event like Hurricane Dorian, finding fuel can be a real challenge. If you have an Android or iOS device or if you can get to their website in a computer browser, help is just a click away. The app “GasBuddy” will turn on special alerts to let you know if a station has power, gas and/or diesel. The screenshot above is of a BP gas station not too far from KCC. As you can see, they have power as of 9:03 a.m. this morning and they have gas. However, they were out of diesel at the same time.

Being able to use GasBuddy could save you tons of time and running around looking for gas on your own. Even when there’s not a natural disaster, GasBuddy is a great app to have. If you don’t currently use the app, I strongly urge you to visit the App Store (iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android) and download it.
