Let’s face it – we’re all pretty sick of this pandemic. Are lives have been turned upside down. For those of us not in the medical field or in other essential jobs where we have to go to work, we’re pretty bored having to mostly stay at home. We’re sick of the news, we’re tired of hearing fights about governments forcing us to wear masks and it’s all just kind of depressing. As a means of surviving, we seek alternatives. We turn the news off; we read books we’ve always wanted to read; we organize the garage; and, we look for other ways to fill our time.

For that last part, the Internet is here to help. Thanks to our ability to get online, we have access to some pretty neat things. Today, I want to point out one of my favorite things to do online – watch animal webcams!

In this post, I’m listing ten (10) of my favorite animal webcams. I hope you’ll take a peek at them and maybe they’ll become popular on your list of things to do, too.

Before I share them, a few things you should know: 1) when it comes to animals, some nighttime viewing can be boring as it’s sometimes too dark to see or the animals are sleeping; 2) webcams aren’t always online – they can lose Internet just like our own computers and techs aren’t always there to fix them, especially during these trying times or, sometimes, they are scheduled to be offline during certain hours; 3) just click on the pictures to visit the webcams; 4) many of the places that have animal webcams are hurting financially right now because they are closed so be prepared to either have to watch an ad or deal with a pop-up asking for donations. (You might actually consider helping them, especially if you enjoy the cams.)
