As I get a little older, I realize it’s important to work smarter rather than longer. There are some things in the computer business that I am repeatedly asked. How cool would it be if I could just send people with the same question to one answer! Thus, one of the reasons I’m creating more and more videos on our YouTube channel.
One of the questions asked over and over is: “What kind of laptop should I purchase?” I’ve answered this inquiry so many times while Joyce was within earshot, she can recite it word-for-word without even thinking about it. Oh, wait, instead of creating a video, I could just have Joyce answer! Hmmm… She probably wouldn’t like that, don’t you agree?
Instead, I’ve created a video called “Buying A Laptop.” (Aren’t I creative? Did you see how I came up with such a catchy title? LOL) Have a look at it and use the comment area below the video to ask any questions. Also, please give it a LIKE if you learn anything new! By the way, I’ll soon be posting videos on buying an all-in-one and on buying a desktop. So, if a laptop doesn’t interest you, stay tuned! Here’s the video:
I give up, John. I have searched both posts for today but simply cannot find your survey? Help, please.
MaryMay…sorry about that! I corrected what was wrong and it just went out. Please take the survey! Thanks.
Can you recommend a really easy to use computer for a senior who is not computer very computer literate?
Joy…can you tell me if they would want a laptop, a desktop and monitor or an all-in-one computer?
A laptop — but it can be large and heavy. He will only move it twice a year from home to home. He doesn’t game. He isn’t into music or graphics. He wants to look stuff up on the internet and have contacts and a calendar.
Thanks for that info. I’ll emailing you some suggestions in a couple of hours.
Hi John,
He would like a large lap top. It just needs to be basic and very user friendly.
