Can You Help The FBI Using Your Computing Devices?

Can you help the FBI using your computing devices? Can you figure out what the four people pictured above have in common?

The FBI

Regardless of your political leanings, you would have to agree that the FBI has been at the center of many news stories of late. Most of the stories surrounding the organization have been controversial and negative. While I’m not writing to defend or prosecute the FBI, I am here to suggest that there are still many good aspects of this governmental agency.

Furthermore, there are ways you can help the FBI using your computing devices. (Remember in the old days when you had to go to the Post Office to find out this information?) Let’s dig in and see what I mean.

What They Have In Common

The four people pictured above have this in common: they are all missing.

  • Olivia Samantha Fowler (above, left) is a mother of three and was last seen in Georgia on August 13, 2021.
  • Maria Nina Miller (above, left-center) is Filipina and was last seen on February 5, 2011.
  • Brandon Abbett (above, right-center) disappeared from his home in California in January 2022, just a few days after his 15th birthday.
  • Jesus Eduardo Paez Lopez (above, right), an American, was abducted in Mexico on January 4, 2020.

How Can You Help?

If you check out the FBI’s Missing/Kidnapped page, you’ll find 109 people listed. You can check all of them out using your computer, smartphone, or tablet by visiting HERE. Who knows! You may have actually bumped into one of these people! You might solve a mystery that’s been going on for years. I strongly urge you to visit the page and mark it a favorite. Obviously, you should return every now and then.

Other Ways You Can Help The FBI

Besides the missing/kidnapped person page, the FBI site has other interesting and important pages. You’ll find Parental Kidnappings – a collection of those parents wanted for illegally taking their children. Additionally, you’ll find the Fugitives page and the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives (three of them have been captured).

Again, you could be bumping shoulders with any of these people and not know it. Use your computing device and check out the various FBI pages. Perhaps you’ll be someone’s hero simply because you took the time to look.

Here are some other things you can do on their site: (Click on the image to visit.)
