If you’re a Windows 10 user, you should know how to pin a program or app to the taskbar. Why? Two reasons, actually! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Programs and apps pinned to the taskbar require only one click to open. <\/li>
  2. Many programs and apps pinned to the taskbar support jump lists.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    As for reason #1, of course, you can set your computer to open desktop shortcuts with one click, as well. However, by default, it takes two clicks on the desktop to open a program or app. Although one-click vs. two-clicks might not seem like much, over a day’s time, those saved clicks can add up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Looking at reason #2, you’ll first need to know what a jump list is. If you don’t know, you can read all about jump lists in my blog post from March 8, 2019 entitled “Jump Right To It<\/a><\/strong>.” (Just click on the title to read the post.) This alone is reason to put your most-used apps\/programs in the taskbar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
