If you have a MacBook Pro that was manufactured between September 2015 and February 2017, you need to check if it is one of the units recalled.  You will do that by entering your Mac&#8217;s serial number on a special page which I&#8217;ll share below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you find when your Mac was manufactured and how do you get the serial number?  Choose About This Mac from the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen (the apple icon). Confirm your model is &#8220;MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015).&#8221;&nbsp; (Listed on the Overview tab.)  If it is, copy the serial number, which is also listed there and enter the serial number in the proper field on the Apple recall page found <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"HERE (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/15-inch-macbook-pro-battery-recall\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.
