Finally, you can forget those other cleanup programs. If you’re a Windows user, it’s always nice to clean out the temporary and other unneeded files to regain hard drive space. Sometimes cleaning out can even help speed up your computer a bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past, you either had to use the Cleanup that was built-in to Windows (see my video HERE<\/a><\/strong>.) or you would get a third-party app. Many people use CCleaner for this purpose but there are lots of other programs, too. Unfortunately, not all of these programs are safe to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft Responds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft has finally responded to people’s desire to clean up their computers. They have a new app that you can get from the Microsoft Store. It’s called “Microsoft PC Manager.” <\/p>\n\n\n

The good news about this app is that it doesn’t just clean up temporary and unneeded files. It does lots more. You can use it to perform a health check of your computer, check what programs are starting up at bootup, and you can use it to perform a taskbar repair.
