For Windows 10 users, that would be the built-in app, Disk Cleanup.  I&#8217;ve created a video and I encourage you to watch it if you haven&#8217;t seen it already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How To Use Disk Cleanup Properly - Windows 10\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Pe_8AIrhZRs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">If you&#8217;re a Mac user, I haven&#8217;t created a video for you but you also have a built-in procedure to clean up files.  Here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>Click on the apple in the upper left-hand corner of your screen.<\/li><li>Choose &#8220;About this Mac.&#8221;<\/li><li>On the window which appears, click on the Storage tab.<\/li><li>Next, click on Manage.<\/li><li>After you give the new window time to search and load, you will see recommendations such as &#8220;Store in iCloud,&#8221; &#8220;Optimize Storage&#8221; and &#8220;Empty Trash Automatically.&#8221;  Explore each of these and you&#8217;ll discover simple ways to free up space and reduce clutter!<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In my post from last week, Celebrate National Clean Out Your Computer Week, I gave you a couple of ways to clean up your computer &#8211; removing duplicate files and deleting old files you haven&#8217;t used in years.
