This option can come up on its own when you&#8217;re having an issue or you can get to it by typing in the search &#8220;Reset this PC.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Resetting the PC is a major operation and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">should not be used unless every other option fails to get your computer running smoothly<\/span>.\u00a0 &#8220;Reset this PC&#8221; removes all programs you&#8217;ve installed.\u00a0 Let me say that again &#8211; &#8220;Reset this PC&#8221; removes ALL programs you&#8217;ve installed.\u00a0 That means anti-virus, online backup, Quicken,  and other programs you installed will be removed.\u00a0 It&#8217;s like reinstalling Windows 10 or 11 from scratch.\u00a0 You should NOT use this method without checking with us first.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-warning-repeat\">Warning Repeat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">As I mentioned above, when you&#8217;re having trouble with Windows 10 or 11, you may get a window from the operating system suggesting that you should try resetting your computer to fix the issues.\u00a0 Again, you should NOT do this without checking with us first.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last post, I explained the first method of trying to fix a Windows 10 or a Windows 11 problem &#8211;
