It&#8217;s called &#8220;News and Interests&#8221; and it appears on the right-hand side of the taskbar, when it&#8217;s located at the bottom of the screen. (See photo above.)  The purpose of this new feature is to give you a quick view of the news and your own interests without you having to go to a variety of web pages.  You can get a brief look at the weather, traffic, sports,  news and other areas of interest.  If something catches your eye and you want more than a snapshot of the information, you simply click on it and you&#8217;ll get the full scoop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">By the way, you&#8217;re not stuck with the news and interests that Microsoft chooses for you.  By clicking on the &#8220;Manage interests&#8221; option in the upper right-hand corner of the feature&#8217;s screen, you can choose what you want. I think you might feel the same once you get to try it.  Oh, please note that Microsoft will be rolling this feature out over a period of time.  Even multiple Windows 10 machines in the same household may get the feature weeks apart.
