It’s The Right Thing To Do

One of the most powerful tools on both Windows and Mac computers is the one I use hundreds of times during a typical week – the right-click. Whether you use a standard mouse, a laptop’s touchpad or a touch screen computer, the right click is available.

The right-click promotes one of the primary reason for even having a computer – to save time. When you right-click on something (desktop, taskbar, folder, file, etc.), you are given a menu of items. Choosing from the menu can often save you numerous steps in a particular computer procedure.


How To Use

The Right-Click

1) You can view the right-click menu by using the right button of a mouse; by tapping on the right side of a laptop’s touchpad; by pressing on the touchscreen with one finger and letting go when a square box appears.
2) After the right-click menu appears, choose what you want to do by clicking with the left-click.
