Today Is An Exciting Day…Well, Kind Of

Today is a special day for Apple. It’s the company’s annual Fall announcement day. This is the gathering where Apple normally announces new products including its new line of iPhones. While there will be new products/models on the agenda, don’t look for any new mobile phones. At least that’s what Apple has stated previously. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the newest line of iPhones is delayed for a few weeks.

If there are no announcements about the iPhone line, what will Apple be showing today? It’s expected that there will be new items in the Apple Watch portfolio as well as the iPad Air. Apple might also bring iOS 14 out of beta and make it available to the general public. Some rumors are floating around that the new iMac OS – “Big Sur” might also come out of beta.

The only way to really know what Apple has up its sleeve is to watch the live event which starts at 1:00 p.m. ET. You can do that by visiting Apple’s YouTube channel. You’ll find the channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Apple.

If you do watch, feel free to share your response in the comments below.
