Researchers discovered this week that a Dell update procedure was flawed with four vulnerabilities. The flaws could allow a hacker full access to a Dell computer. Unfortunately, they found that 129 different models totaling about 30 million computers may be affected by the flaw.

Dell, of course, is releasing patches to repair the vulnerabilities. What you need to do is download the Dell Update software if it’s not already on your Dell computer. If you need it, you’ll find it HERE. Dell has also provided a list of impacted computers and which version of the BIOS should be installed.
