Thank You!
Thank you so very much for attending our seminar on Saturday, September 11, 2010.  Here are the notes from the seminar:

We started the seminar with a video in honor of those who lost their lives nine years ago on September 11, 2001.  Here is the video:

Today's topic was "To Err Is Human."  Here is the PowerPoint presentation for you to download and watch on your computer:

Seminar 09-11-2010 PowerPoint

The PowerPoint has most of the notes but here are some additional things we discussed:

iGoogle = Instant Google.  Search results as soon as you start to type.

Paul Ehrlich - don't forget to Google him to learn his story.

We talked about using BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) in emails.  If that's something new to you, you might want to read THIS.

Questions asked and answered:
How often should you defrag your computer? Visit our take on this question by clicking HERE.

What browser do we use?
We primarily use Internet Explorer.  However, we have four other browsers on our computer: FireFox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome.  We use Chrome for our social networks: FaceBook and Twitter.  We like FireFox for the plug-ins which allow us to download videos.  The Reader option in Apple's Safari turns news pages and other similar sites into something you can read like an eBook.  Opera is the browser we use the least but it's certainly a very good way of seeing the Web.
I also mentioned that Internet Explorer 9 is coming out in Beta on Sept. 15th and I suggested that everyone hold off downloading it until we get some initial feedback.
