Whether you like the Big Joe Turner or the Bill Haley and the Comets or the Elvis Presley version of Shake, Rattle and Roll, you have to admit it was a very popular song in the 1950s.
Did you know that if you use Windows 10, you can do a little shaking yourself? Okay, bear with me here… let’s say you have a bunch of windows open – maybe a couple different browsers and Microsoft Word and/or Quicken, etc. In fact, you have so many windows open, you can’t concentrate on the window you actually want to use. I have a great solution for you and I want you to try it after you’ve finished reading this post.
With multiple windows open on your computer, grab the top area of the window in which you want to concentrate and shake it back and forth by holding down the left mouse button. Viola! All the other windows have been minimized. Don’t believe me? Watch this 31-second video where I first show you that I have a number of windows open; then, I take the Word window, shake it and you’ll see all the other windows are minimized. Note: there is no sound with this video. Just click the small arrow at the bottom left to start it.
Shaking a window to minimize other windows is an easy and helpful Windows 10 tip! Try it!
