Thanks!
If you
attended our seminar on Saturday, February 16, 2013, we just want to
say "Thanks!"
(If you weren't able to attend, everything is included in the PowerPoint below.)
We looked at four fake emails and gave the reasons we would know they were fake; we also went over terminology such as "transfer" vs. "download" or "upload;" and, we actually scanned a picture into the computer, saved pictures from the web and transferred pictures from a USB drive and an SD card.
Our Seminar's topic was "It's Not All Hearts and Roses." Here is the PowerPoint (in PDF format):
Seminar 02-16-2013 PowerPoint.
During the seminar, I demonstrated a free software program which allows you to right-click on a picture and resize it to make the file size smaller. (This is especially helpful when emailing a photo or photos.) Here is the link where you can download this software and then install it so you can also resize photos:

You will need to choose the 32-bit or 64-bit version based on which version of Windows your computer is running.
Our next seminar will be Saturday, March 9, 2013.
